The annual Tiny Tim Trust Golf Tournament was held at Chevin Golf Club on Friday, September 3rd 2010.
Charity events generally have suffered this year but we managed to buck the trend by getting a very enthusiastic response to our appeal for teams of four playing under Stableford Rules. We had 30 teams teeing off at regular intervals throughout the day.
We raised in excess of £5000 which helps to ensure our funding for the next twelve months and we are, once again, amazed by such generous support. Since we have no paid staff and none of our volunteers claim expenses, all of this money will be spent on children with special needs in Derbyshire.
